HAEMATOLOGY RESEARCH GROUP

The Passam lab, led by Freda Passam, runs comprehensive bench-to-bedside Thrombosis and Haematology research at the Charles Perkins Centre, the University of Sydney. Our core business is platelet activity and endothelial cell biology with expertise in the endoplasmic reticulum and antibody-driven blood clots. We aim to discover new mechanisms, diagnostics and therapies to combat some of the most severe thrombotic problems, heparin induced thrombocytopenia and cardiovascular thrombosis.
